Computer Curriculum
Middle School
Objectives:
- Goal: Graduating eighth graders are to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. *This will require practice at home.
- Teach them to be proficient at Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Learn about the world of multimedia and the applications that are used.
- Learn about computer programming
- Learn about web design
- My ultimate goal is to open your student’s eyes to all the possibilities in the technology field.
Elementary School
Objectives:
- Have every student be able to type at least 20 WPM.
- Teach them the beginnings of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Learn about the Computer i.e. File system, mouse, keyboard
- Learn about computer hardware (take a computer apart)
- Learn about making a slide show (beginning multimedia)
- My ultimate goal is to open your student’s eyes to all the possibilities in the technology field.
