Math: Sums and Differences (up to 12), nickels, and dimes, quarter values, word problems, double digit addition/subtraction, telling time, gallons, quarts, pints and thermometer readings.

Each time we open a returned Flat Stanley/Summer, It’s like opening a present at Christmas! It’s SOOO exciting!
Each of the Flat Stanleys/Summers will be displayed at our First Grade Open House on May 17th.
Please provide a water bottle labeled with your child’s name to be stored in their cubbie. Thank You!
Baby Picture- As part of our Open House on May 17th we would like to have a baby picture display. Please can you provide a baby picture (approx. less than one year) of your child in an envelope by Friday, 5/11? Each family can participate by guessing “Who’s That Baby?” As a bonus your child will get a BUG ticket for their baby picture.
HOMEWORK
Share: Your child will write 3 or more sentences on 8 ½ x 11 lined sheet of paper to share about the topic. The paper will be handed in at share time. Please be sure to make up the share homework another day if there is a holiday or absence.

Tuesday: Share (writing sentences), memory verse, math worksheet, math flash cards, Spelling words, and read with a parent.
Wednesday: Memory verse, Practice spelling test, math worksheet, math flash cards, Share (writing sentences), and read with a parent.
Thursday: Spelling words, memory verse, read with a parent, Share (writing sentences), math flash cards.
Friday: Homework folders are due.
