Sports Philosophy
Christ is the Cornerstone of the PVCS athletic program. Discipline, leadership and godly character are goals which we recognize as a platform to bring glory to God. Through physical fitness, Christ-like attitudes, Biblical training, coaching and pursuing excellence, our program challenges students to compete at their highest levels. We want to exemplify godly character both on and off the field of play.
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.”
II Corinthians 2:14

Physical Education
Physical education is a key part of our curriculum, reflecting our belief that God created our bodies to be active and healthy. Through our PE program, students from elementary to middle school learn not only the importance of physical health but also the values of competition and sportsmanship. Elementary students engage in weekly PE classes led by our dedicated PE teacher, where they participate in activities designed to develop their physical skills and encourage healthy habits. Middle school students attend PE two to three times a week, depending on their grade, which reinforces the foundational principles of good sportsmanship and personal fitness.
