In music for January – March we’ll spend our time focusing on our curriculum, God Made Music and Recorder Karate for grades 1-5. In kindergarten, we will be learning music through a fun book series called, ‘Freddie the Frog’. You can find these books on the website www.musick8.com. In our middle school choirs, we will be continuing to focus on learning singing basics; vocal support, tone, singing on pitch and harmonies. We will also take some time to learn about some current Christian singer-songwriters and their inspiration behind writing and singing.
In March, we’ll start working on our spring musical for 3rd-5th grade. Our program this year is called ‘Jonah’s Druthers; A Whale of a Tale from the Good Book’. You can check out a preview from www.littlebigstuff.com/.
